Poxmire is a dangerous marsh region separating Ekantus and Lacastor, Its landscape is mostly flat with massive Swamps, dotting the sickly forests.
Poxmire is home to many unsightly beasts, though they may live in the murky swamps, they will often hunt in nearby regions due to the relatively small population of Poxmire. There are a few small stilted villages that populate the swamps.
Poxmire is largely controlled by an outlaw group known as “The Green Serpents”. Their main export is Hashish, A sticky green smokable substance that can be found in almost any major city throughout Etaarin. The Green Serpents are responsible for producing and export up to 95% of Hashish, as the plant grows freely in Poxmire. The Green Serpents have a home base of operations known as “Big Stick” a stilt city somewhere in the centre of Poxmire. They also provide security to many of the small villages in Poxmire, in return for the production of Hashish.
Poxmires history is rather uninteresting, they are rarely a target of invasion due to the difficulty of moving large amounts of ground troops into the area and due to the lack of natural resources in the region (disregarding the production of Hashish, which many countries view as an illegal substance.)
